Moving along with the Times

Hello .........

This week it is my turn to host the challenge at Moving along with the times, and the theme this week is

To the Happy Couple

You can create a wedding, engagement or anniversary card for example.
I decided to make a wedding card as I have a couple of weddings coming up in the next couple of months/

I used a digi image from Digi Stamp Boutique and just coloured a few bits with my promarkers, I then added some glamour dust to the dress and veil.
The paper is from Pink Petticoat and I used a die namics blue print die to create a frame.
The sequins are from Lucy's Cards folksy shop and she as some gorgeous colours and packs of sequins which you can find HERE
The sentiment is a stamp from Stampin up and the flower is a punch from Stampin up

look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.

Creative Moments Challenge

It is time for another new challenge at Creative Moments, I can not believe that another 2 weeks as gone by.

For this challenge we would love you to create something for the man in your life,

Fathers Day/ Masculine

We are sponsored by

and

for my card I have used a image from Deedee's Lazy Days, which is available Here

I was inspired by the current sketch challenge over at Happy Little Stampers

I printed my image onto white card twice, again onto brown card and then onto green card.
I cut the trees out of the brown card, the tree tops from the green card, and coloured the teddy and hammock with pencils before cutting him out. I created a mask and inked the sky and grass with distress inks then added my tree trunks, I propped the tree tops up with some foam pads and also the hammock.  The little sun is from lil inkers, and I just popped it behind the trees slightly.
I used a stamp from Stampin Up for my sentiment.

Just Sayin

Hello again...

I thought I would create a card to combine both challenges.

I daubed some distress inks onto my craft mat and then sprayed with water and then spritzed with a shimmer spray and allowed to dry.

I die cut my panel using a blue print die, and adhered to my card with foam pads.
The butterfly die is from memory box but not sure what it is called will have to check and update my post.

I used a sentiment from a Stampin up set and highlighted it with some glitter pen.

Christmas Card Challenge 27

Good morning.............

Hope you are all enjoying this lovely sunshine, we have been so busy this week trying to get our garden finished (we started last summer!!), we finally got the gravel down on Thursday, and we now have a relatively dog friendly garden, and can enjoy the lovely weather, just need to get the BBQ going now.

Anyway enough waffle, as its Sunday it is time for a new challenge over at Christmas Card Challenge, and this week we have a lovely Colour Challenge for you

I have tried to use as many colours as possible in my card and thought these papers from a Dovecraft back to basics pad would be ideal.

I used a christmas tree stamp from Clearly Besotted, onto paterned paper, and then die cut out. I used a glitter pen to highlight the inked edges. I used foam pads to mount onto a rectangle of white card, adding some blue button twine around the bottom, and tying a little tag from LOTV.
I added some striped paper to the side of my card base and then popped the white panel on top with foam pads.
