Wee stamps topper

Hi, hope you have all had a nice Christmas, and have not indulged to much!!

I was working Nights and finished on Boxing day morning so today is my firs proper day at home, and apart from this post I am going to spend the day watching TV with my lovely Husband who has been a  little neglected over the last few weeks whilst I was finishing off my Christmas cards and making cakes.

Papertake weekly challenge for this week is Pick of the Year and I have chosen to use the Last christmas card of the year challenge

My card for today

I have used a card topper from the Hobby House Wee Stamps Holly Time sheet.

I have added loads of glamour dust and mounted onto Navy blue card.
The paper is from LOV Christmas pad which I bought last year.
The snowflake is from the Spellbinders set.
The blue and white pearls are from Hobby House.
The sentiment is computer generated

Free Digi

Good afternoon, hope you are all tucked up safe away from this awful weather!!  It is atrocious here in Leicester, upstairs of the house feels like being on top of a mountain with the wind blowing around the windows, and the rain lashing against them.
I have still got one or two presents to wrap (think I will be doing them on Christmas morning lol)

I have made two A6 cards today using this months free digi stamp from Digi Stamp Boutique, only available during December,  it comes both coloured and black and white.

I have printed out the coloured image onto white linen card and die cut with a scalloped rectangle die, added some glamour dust just for a change! and a couple of gems.

The papers are from my scrap box left over from last christmas and just the right size for these cards.

Many thanks for visiting.

Winter Fence

Evening to you all, hope you are all ready for the big day, can not believe that it is only 2 days away, I really do not know where the time goes.

I am working Nights this week so trying to fit in all my last minute shopping and still have some presents to wrap!!

I have been busy over the last few days icing Christmas Cakes for my family and will add some pictures at the end of this post.

Onto my card.

The image is a digital from Pink Gem Design and you get both a black and white and this coloured image in the price.
I have used a square card base from craft work cards.
I used an embossalicious snowflake folder and white linen card and mounted this onto Red card, both from Paper mill Direct. I mounted the image onto red card and added lots of glamour dust.
The sentiment is from Craft work cards, which I have had in my stash since last Christmas, they are handy to have and I bought loads when they were in the sale last year.

I also made this using Green card instead of Red and the picture is below

more christmas cards

Good morning to everyone, Sorry for not posting for a while but I have been away visiting christmas markets in Belgium.
We had planned to go to Belgium on a P & O mini cruise and booked over 12 months ago, and then last Wed  4 days before we were due to sale they canceled!! we were all so disappointed so decided to book our own.
I managed to book a lovely hotel in Oustend and we took the car over on the ferry Dover to Dunkirk, and drove the short distance into Belgium, the used public transport which was brilliant to get us all to Bruges and Ghents christmas markets.  I bought loads of lovely chocolates back!
Anyway enough of my hols back to these 2 cards.
They are both made from  digi kits available from the clip art fairy  I love these kits as they are so versatile, and you can make them as detailed as you like.
I have added some glamour dust and the sentiments are from Craftwork cards.

Thank you for looking and hopefully I will be back to colouring after the Christmas Holidays.post signature

Hello

Good morning to you all.  Can not believe that I have not posted for over a week.......

I have been working nights this last week and I just seem to either be working or sleeping, and when I am up later in the day I don't have any motivation to craft.

The 3 cards below have been made using up odds and ends of paper from my stash, and the ready coloured toppers I bought last year from LOV. (they have not had them this year unfortunately)  They came in a variety of sizes on A4 sheets and these are all 6cm squares.  I just added some glamour dust for sparkle, and a sentiment from Craftwork cards.  So quick and easy!!

Many thanks for looking and I will be back soon

This is the card that I have made following the sketch

I have used a 5 x 7 inch card base in kraft card
Papers are Silent Night form Do Crafts about 2 years ago!

Green and Red

The challenge this week at Paper take weekly is a sketch either use the one below number 85 or one of your choice.

I have used this sketch for my card, and I reverted back to using Red and Greens I do have a large stash of this colour!

I have made this card for my Niece using a digital image from Tiddly inks called Caroling Wry
Isn't she just so sweet singing her heart out

I have coloured her in pro markers and polychromo pencils

The snowflakes are from a memory box die, they come with a little bow and string attached but I removed them and just used the snow flakes.

Holly is from an old die that I have in my Christmas goodies stash, and the sentiments are from LOV

The paper is a mixture from both Dovecraft back to basics (last years) and the darker green music is from a pad that was free with a magazine.

I have used Buff and red card from Papermill direct.

Snowman

Afternoon, hope you have all had a good week end.  I was working nights on Sat & Sun so did not get much crafting done.  This is a card that I wanted to post yesterday but just did not have time to take pictures and post before work.

The image I have used is from LOV and was actually stamped up this time last year and I never got around to colouring it.
I have coloured using Pro Markers and Polychromos, the lilac originally started out pink but I did not like the colour so went darker and suddenly it was lilac but I think that goes well with the blue.

The papers are digital from The Clip Art Fairy, they are from the collection called Holly's Christmas Tree, and the kit also includes a digital image they are very versatile kits and handy if you need a card in a rush.

I have used white lace and  thes eam binding was also white and then I coloured it with pro markers, both are from WOC.  I find it much easier to buy white seam binding and then I can use my pro markers to get the shade that I need.

I have used 20mm rose and 10mm roses both from WOC

The Snowflakes are from X cut punches and I use glitter card.

The twigs behind the flowers are part of the festive greenery die from Sizzix, and I used some glitter card.

To finish off I added some gems from stash and a bit of glamour dust around the children's hoods

I also used a digital sentiment from Pink Petticoat.

this is a close up of the image and flowers.

Oh Christmas tree

I can not believe that it is nearly a week since my last post!!

We have been away in the caravan for a few days doing lots of walking, we did not take the lap top with us so was unable to upload any cards.

This Christmas card was made using a topper from Lili of the Valley, it was in a pack that I bought maybe 2 years ago!! Can not believe that I have not used it before. Not sure if they still sell them but they do have some other lovely toppers and stamps so well worth a visit. I have used a card base from white linen card, and matted onto navy card.

Good morning

good morning to you all.

I have now finished my week on nights so have the rest of the week at home (loads of time to craft).....  Hope the weather improves, it was so wet and miserable here yesterday, and my poor little chickens are living in mud!!

I have enrolled on a 3 week cake decorating course making some Christmas Roses, Holly and Ivy leaves, and yesterday was the 2nd Monday.  I have now made some stamens, petals and leaves and next week when we put them all together and colour them.

these are what I have done at home to practice  The stamens are made from cotton and you can do these whilst watching TV, which pleases Kevin because it means I can sit down stairs with him for a change lol

I will be back later to post a secret box that I have made.

thanks for looking
